Laboratory workshop

Laboratory will take place in 2019. In collaboration of Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) and Geological Survey of Slovenia (GeoZS) an laboratory shortcourse on innovative methods in exploration geology will be prepared. It will be implemented in 2019 in GTK, Finland. 

During the training week the target groups will have the possibility to gain very valuable knowledge on laboratory works that will be led by the experts from the above mentioned institutions. Training in the laboratories will be in line with the groups’ needs and also in compliance with market demand in order to prepare them properly for the EU market. Moreover, at the end of the whole program, the participants will be fully equipped with the knowledge considering that they have been benefiting from all the stages of the program starting with theoretical part on the geological exploration methodologies, knowledge on how to use the innovative methodology in the ground.

  • passing the Theoretical short course final test in first four
  • no obstacles for EU VISA process
  • very good english
COST

Participant to the course will have to obtain an EU VISA. All costs of that process will be incured by participant. All costs of travel and accommodation will be incured by Geological Survey of Finland.

LABORATORY SHORT COURSES EXECUTION

Laboratory short courses were lead by prof Ferenc Molnar from GTK. Courses were meant to demonstrate the innovative methods and techniques used in laboratories regarding mineral exploration (SEM, MLA, ICP MS, LA MS/SC ICPMS, portable XRF, fluid inclusions, petrophysics and airborne gepophysics).
